Biography
My name is Maria Navarro-Rodriguez. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Learning and a Master’s Degree in School Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. My teaching career began in 2005 at Miles Avenue ES and now at Roybal-Allard ES.
With over 20 years of experience in elementary education, I use creative lessons to make learning fun and meaningful. My goal is to help every student build confidence, kindness, and a strong foundation for future success. With a focus on building strong foundational skills, I help young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My experience in working in this community has helped me connect with my students and families in a meaningful way.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, gardening, and spending time with my two sons and dog, Enzo.
