Biography

I am a proud product of our local community, having graduated from Bell High School before earning my degree from California State University, Los Angeles in 2005. My teaching career began in 2006 at Chester W. Nimitz Middle School in Huntington Park, where I spent my early years teaching 6th grade. Since then, I have had the unique privilege of being a part of Lucille Roybal-Allard Elementary School.

As a National Board Certified educator, I am deeply committed to providing high-quality instruction and fostering a supportive environment for my students. I believe that my long history in this district helps me connect with my students and their families on a meaningful level. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy unwinding with a wide range of music—from the soulful sounds of Luther Vandross to the classic harmonies of Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles. I am also a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, always looking forward to football season!
