Ms. Hernández
In my fifth-grade classroom, my voice finds a natural rhythm between Spanish and English, creating a space where my students feel at home in both languages. I truly believe I have the best job in the world because I spend my days diving into the three things I love most: the magic of a great story, the satisfying logic of a tough math problem, and the beautiful mess of the art studio. There’s nothing quite like the spark in a student’s eyes when they finally grasp a complex word in their second language or solve a long division challenge. When we clear the desks for art, I love seeing them translate those academic concepts into colors and shapes, proving that creativity is a language we all speak fluently.
