Hello.  My name is Norma Zendejas. I am a dedicated educator with over 32 years of service in LAUSD, including 22 years in the classroom. Throughout my career, I have taught grades 1 through 6 and have taken on a variety of impactful leadership roles at school sites, including TSP Coordinator, Primary Promise lead, ELLP Coordinator, Title III Coach, and Title I Coach.

Currently, I serve as an MTL (Meaningful Teacher Learning) Coach, where I support fellow educators in strengthening instructional practices with PBL and CBL.  I am especially passionate about providing targeted interventions in reading and math to help all students succeed.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy gardening and hiking.  I have a special love for dogs, horses and turtles.
