PAL at LRA

Welcome to our classroom! I am proud to serve as a Special Education Preschool Teacher here at our school. With 15 years of experience in early childhood and special education, I am passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and shine.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University and my Master’s degree from California State University, Fullerton. I am also honored to be a National Board Certified Teacher, which reflects my commitment to high standards in teaching and continuous professional growth.

I believe that every child is unique and capable, and I strive to make learning meaningful through hands-on activities, creativity, and play. I especially enjoy incorporating crafts into our classroom to help bring lessons to life in fun and memorable ways.

Outside of school, I love spending quality time with my family, cooking and creating lasting memories. I am excited to partner with you to support your child’s learning journey and celebrate all of their successes—big and small!

Our Preschool for All Learners (PAL) program serves 3-4 year olds with a range of disabilities with both moderate and severe levels of need. This child-centered curriculum model focuses on the goals as well as the process of how children learn and develop, reflecting a constructivist theoretical perspective. It strongly emphasizes the learning environment, children’s play, and child-initiated activity.
