Meet Ms. Castaneda

Hello families! My name is Ms. Castaneda, and I am the Resource Specialist Teacher at Lucille Roybal-Allard Elementary. I have worked in the field of special education for 20 years.  I worked for 13 years as an assistant and I have been a teacher for 7 years.  I truly enjoy supporting students as they learn and grow. I provide help in English Language Arts and Math, and I strive to create a safe, positive space where students feel comfortable trying their best, making mistakes, and learning from them. I look forward to working with your child and partnering with you in their educational journey. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my family, and traveling.
